Teen Beauty Spending Rises with Cosmetics Up 28%: Piper Sandler

ELF, Bath & Body Works, CeraVe top their respective categories in this semi-annual survey on discretionary spending trends and brand preferences.

Piper Sandler Companies has released its 44th semi-annual Taking Stock With Teens survey, which highlights discretionary spending trends and brand preferences from 14,500 teens across 47 US states with an average age of 15.8 years. Teen “self-reported” spending was up 3% year of over to $2,331, which was down 2% versus last spring. Piper Sandler’s report found that parent contribution was 61% in this current survey compared to 60% last spring. Food remained the top spend category for males...
